Little Bur-Clover is a small introduced annual legume featuring clover-like trifoliate leaves and small yellow pea flowers, followed by tiny hooked burrs that cling to animal fur and clothing. Common in sunny pastures and disturbed soils, it fixes atmospheric nitrogen into thin limestone topsoil, though its spiny seed burrs can irritate livestock.
