Diamond-Flowers (Narrowleaf Bluet) is a slender, fine-textured native perennial featuring narrow paired leaves and star-like, four-petaled white-to-pale-pink blossoms. Indigenous to sunny limestone glades, rocky outcrops, and open savannas, its foliage turns distinctively dark purple-black when dried—a trait reflected in its scientific name. Its delicate blossoms offer concentrated nectar for small solitary bees, bee flies, and micro-butterflies from spring through early autumn.
